Hi, I’m TJ. Paak is my design and technology studio in Auckland.

I’ve had a bit of a weird run to get here. Music events first, doing all the creative direction and content myself, which somehow grew into running a live broadcast studio working with brands like Red Bull, Coca-Cola, SkyCity, TikTok and Serato. Then I went and opened my own restaurants. Creative and marketing direction on my side of the counter, and on the other side of the invoice hiring agencies, paying good money for work that looked great and moved nothing.

That’s the itch Paak scratches. Looking good is one part, but making something work and convert is what’s real in business. My job is finding that balance for clients, standing out from the average while building something that actually does the job. No bullshit, no design for design’s sake.

Small business also means doing everything yourself, so when AI showed up I jumped on it early. Tested it inside my own businesses first, broke it plenty, and it completely changed how I worked and how they performed. That’s the same stuff I install for clients now, alongside brand, websites, and search that gets you found in Google and inside the AI’s answer.

And because I’ve run businesses, I care about what happens after launch. Can a customer get the offer and take the next step? Can the team handle it without another messy workaround? If not, it’s not done.

You work with me directly, scope agreed before we start. I also build under other agencies’ brands when they need solid capacity without another hire.
